Lildreds Farm – Trop Cookies
Genetics: GSC x Tangie
Bag Appeal: Long, pointy, dark green and purple buds check all of the boxes. Covered in trichomes and dotted with orange waving pistils, Trop Cookies look straight out of a magazine. On the drier side, the spirals of bracts and calyxes are visually impressive.
Aroma: Trained noses can identify the Tangie parentage, but others pick up pineapple and piña profiles. Overwhelmingly pleasant, this expression of Trop Cookies can be smelled from yards away. With a sweetness that takes very little of the earthy qualities of GSC, the trop cookies is richer than Tangie, with all of the expected tang.
Flavor: While the smell is an engaging and dynamic sensory experience, the flavor is softer. The bright qualities of the aroma blend with a smoky palette. The smoke is thin, sweet and smooth, leaving a considerable resin ring around the joint. Effects are mellow and familiar to GSC.
