Third Eye Organics – Sunset Sherbert

Genetics: GSC x Pink Panties

Bag Appeal: Third Eye always puts out exceptional looking product and the Sherb is no exception. The large nugs have dramatic color, reminiscent of my first experiences with the cultivar. Each bracht is totally engulfed in large upright trichomes and the cider pistils offer a stunning visual contrast. The Sherb breaks down like molding sand, fluffy without being light or airy.

Aroma: Third Eye’s Sherb is a very pure example of the genetic backbone of almost everything we smoke. I’ve had chef friends describe this particular aroma as yeasty, with savory and sweet qualities that are almost one in the same. Like fresh baked goods, the aroma fills any room with a sense of comfort.

Flavor: The Sunset Sherbert initially tastes like a sweet soap. Potent from the first inhale, as the resin burns down, a more traditional Sherb palette develops. Gentle and inviting, the flavor is less bold than some of the other strains run by Third Eye. The effects are instantly immersive, with a more comprehensive stone than anything I’ve smoked in recent memory. The joint delivers a bit of a throat pinch near the end, which is unusual for Third Eye, but not uncommon for resin of this strength.
