Bag Appeal: The OG Kush from Loud THC Organics is fairly chunky and much more swollen in appearance than the tree-like kush cultivars with which I’m more familiar. The plump emerald green nugs are fairly light despite being absolutely caked in a slippery resin. The sticky bracts crumble apart with ease.   

Aroma: Exactly what I look for in an OG Kush, this example is particularly loud. The aroma is reminiscent of Chem 91, with a sharp fuel profile and some added complexity. Underneath the gas, there is an acidic and slightly bitter lemon-pith note. At the very end, there is a subtle but expansive pine scent that gives the jar some welcome freshness.

Flavor: Loud THC Organics’ example of OG Kush is one of the more complex I’ve tried. While the flavor is dominated by a hissing and slightly sour gas, a bright and defined lemon terp makes the smoke lively and exciting. The OG Kush was initially rather harsh, but cured up nicely, retaining OG’s signature buttery mouthfeel with a significantly reduced bite. The effects are that of an exceptional OG, forcefully calming with pensive mental clarity.
