Capone Grown – Planet Purple

Genetics: Sherbidos x Moonbow #75

Bag Appeal: The tea-green pinecone nugs, speckled with lavender, have a cosmic quality that suits the name Planet Purple. Featuring a beautiful spread of bloated calyxes, spring shaped pistils, and elongated sparkling trichomes, the Planet Purple appears vibrant and healthy. Extremely sticky, the Planet Purple has a vigorous quality in the jar. I was blessed with a couple very healthy looking bag seeds, which I don’t particularly mind.

Aroma: The Planet Purple is as unique as the last Moonbow cross I tried from @archiveseeds , with a terp profile I hadn’t experienced to this point. The most prominent notes are lavender, sage, mint, and a stone fruit sweetness. A persistent fuel smell imbues the Planet Purple with the candy-gas umami finish expected from its family tree. The range of underlying nuance is unexpected and exciting, with hints of lilac, anise and spearmint.

Flavor: The mentholated lavender soap taste is powerful, with a cooling spearmint quality I’ve only ever had in the Turkish Landrace from @landracelegacy . Complex and filled with floral, sweet and savory flavors, the dense minty smoke is a joy down to the roach. The lumbering effects set in quickly and are consistently the most peaceful and relaxing of anything I’ve tried to date. Organically grown with a masterful touch, the Planet Purple is exceptional in a lot of ways.
