Tornado Terpz – Moonlit Pie #5
Genetics: Gelato x Apples & Bananas
Bag Appeal: Undoubtedly a looker, Tornado Terpz’s Moonlit Pie #5 has a dynamic appearance. The medium-sized nugs are composed of tightly trimmed hunter-green bracts that are entirely engulfed in a striking frost. Healthy orange pistils jut out from each spherical nug and provide useful context for the mammoth composition of each sparkling trichome.
Aroma: Moonlit Pie #5 smells like a particularly dark gelato. Any nuttiness is replaced with a shade of earth that reminds me of grape skin. The aroma is generally very light, and has bits of undefined asphalt and rubber-band terps.
Flavor: Moonlit Pie #5 is very GSC dominant. With various lines of cookies on both sides of its parentage, Moonlit Pie #5 has a focused savory palate that reminds me of a Sherbacio or Gelato #33. Vaguely funky with aggressive hashy undertones, the smoke is generally smooth with pleasant lung expansion. There is a subtle bitter and sweet tinge to the exhale that is reminiscent of a Moon Pie, with a sharp chocolate finish. The potency is where the Moonlit Pie #5 really shines, which I’d imagine is a result of it having been flowered for 75 days, allowing an abundant cannabinoid profile to develop. Euphorically calming without being sedative, this batch of Moonlit Pie #5 shows that Tornado Terpz clearly knows how to grow.
